I’ve built quite a few successful apps in my time with complex logic and had to solve many tough engineering problems. Still, scenarios like this really make me nervous as I think if I get stuck here the person will think I’m an idiot and all my past experience won’t count for anything. It’s the whole setting. It’s totally unnatural. In the real world I chew on a problem for days sometimes in my head, when going on a walk or laying in bed. I’ve always got to a solution so far.

I know interviews have to find out your knowledge and experience one way or another but being put on the spot feels me with dread.
