Interesting post and thanks for sharing your views. I don't quite agree with the full stack prediction. Whenever I see this on a CV I think of the phrase - "Jack of all trades, master of none". I agree in this day and age that a Web Developer should be familiar with the whole stack in one form or another but I still feel a need for specialisation. I classify myself as a Frontend dev and there is a wealth of skills and specialised knowledge to learn.
