I think this extra choice will be interesting in some scenarios. Chat section on a shopping site to help the user find recommendations or what they need more easily. But take for example instagram, the UI to this app is so important and AI with MCPs will not replace this. There is so much psychology baked into that UX/UI and it’s critical for the apps success and AI chat would just be an awful choice here. Things will change for sure but UI will still remain critically important as long as we have our devices.
