At least the comments on this article reflect reality. Just a note on your 'hiring strategy' - NEVER hire idiots. ONLY hire the best - have you ever actually tried to hire someone? For me its one of the hardest things to do and unfortunately your simplistic formula doesn't quite work in the real world.
